The name of this suspension lamp is French for ‘the dancers’, a nod to piece’s undulating motion. An engine mounted on the suspension shaft makes the fabric move, resulting in a diffused light and casting subtle, constantly changing projections. Altering the rotation speed causes the discs to move between vertical and horizontal positions, altering the amount of light illuminating the space.
