It’s a pure bliss to witness lavish interiors of the Bloomingdale’s at the 360 Mall in Kuwait. We take you on a designer tour of this uber cool fashion destination

Noted! It’s clearly one of the most fashionable and good-looking stores that one would come across the region. Bloomingdale’s Kuwait has raised the level of design as far as the interiors of the store is concerned. Amsterdam-based design firm UXUS was given the task for weaving together hospitality, retail, and service, translating the iconic American department store, and evolving it for the Middle East market. Oliver Michell, chief creative officer and architect at UXUS says: “Working with Al Tayer Insignia, we took the strategy to provide premium service models for a very discerning clientele, to encourage dwell time and social shopping whilst incorporating a lively digital environment to create a regional point of difference. Our aim was to make Bloomingdale’s Kuwait the fashion authority for the region.” The store, which opened its door in March this year, exudes New York-style elegance and glamour. The design of the store combines personalized services, VIP touch points, integrated digital experiences and curated decor elements that come together seamlessly, encouraging exploration and indulgence. The ground level features the exciting world of beauty-everything from cosmetics to fragrances can be found here.

After purchasing beauty items from separate vendors, guests are encouraged to enjoy a luxurious consultation and treatment to complete the look at Experience Beauty. The mezzanine floor hosts some fantastic designer brands-eveningwear, contemporary, and causal. Moving to the first floor, it’s accessories like footwear and handbags that takes the centre stage along with the best place to relax-Scene Café. “What we are creating is an experience – a world that is highly appealing and conducive to spending a lot of time, captivating customers as they spend their leisure time shopping with family and friends,” adds Michell.
