Baker Furniture introduces 19 furniture designs as a part of its famous Stately Homes collection, as well as 27 new Baker Originals pieces, all debuting at High Point Market this fall  2019, as part of their new collection.

The company’s partnership with Sir Humphrey Wakefield goes back 30 years, with the English Baronet, writer and foremost authority on English antiques and architecture, curating the Stately Homes Collection designs. These feature handsomely carved chairs, mirrors and elaborate lacquered chests, using rare woods, antique tools, and techniques to produce elegant pieces that add value and class to any interior.

At Iconic Home showroom in Dubai Design District, the exclusive mono-brand showroom is displayed some of Wakefield most coveted pieces. These are one-of-a-kind, and come with a Sir Humphrey hand-signed note and individual number.

Joseph Talj, managing partner at Iconic Home for Baker, said: “Showcasing such valuable pieces is our showroom signature as we intend to offer the UAE market the exclusivity of some of the world’s most elegant and coveted furniture.”

‘Beside the variety of styles and interior lines that are launched at Baker every season, we pride ourselves into presenting the works of the brand’s internationally- acclaimed designers and architects, like Sir Humphrey Wakefield, Barbara Barry, Thomas Pheasant, and Laura Kirar, to name just a few,” added Talj.

As a part of its fall 2019 introductions, Baker also presents 27 in-house designed additions to its Baker Originals collection. The new introductions were created in classic forms, using unique materials such as bronze, Carrara marble, eggshell, eel skin, Murano glass and acrylic.

The new additions to the Stately Homes for Baker collection and Baker Originals collection will be available at Iconic Home in Dubai in spring 2020.
