  • UAE-headquartered educational design firm continues global growth, establishing a regional base in one of Asia’s leading education and innovation hubs
  • The new office joins Kidzink’s three other global offices in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Spain, and brings total team numbers to over 400 professionals.

Kidzink, the award-winning UAE-headquartered educational design and manufacturing firm, together with its educational architectural consultancy arm, Koda (Kidzink Office of Design and Architecture), has announced the opening of a new office in Singapore, marking a major milestone in its global expansion. The company, which has extensive education design experience throughout Asia, is further strengthening its international presence with UAE-born innovation that continues to shape schools and educational spaces across the world.

The new base in Singapore provides Kidzink and Koda with a strong platform to collaborate not only within Singapore but also across Asia’s fast-growing education markets. From this regional hub, the firms will be able to serve existing clients more efficiently and expand their network across key regional cities including China, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia and Hong Kong – all markets where Kidzink and Koda have delivered full educational furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) solutions and bespoke design consultancy.

The new office will be co-led by architects and senior Kidzink leaders James Ho and Silvio Azorin, who together bring decades of global experience. The pair will be supported by interior designers, educators and project managers, as well as Kidzink’s wider network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Spain.

Charlotte Borghesi, Founder and General Manager of Kidzink, said: “Singapore is a natural next step for us. It is a world-class education and business hub with a deep appreciation for design and innovation. Our presence in Singapore allows Kidzink and Koda to be closer to our clients and partners across Asia and to continue pushing boundaries in how schools are designed, built and furnished.”

This milestone reinforces Kidzink and Koda’s entrepreneurial and forward-looking approach, building on their global momentum and shared commitment to delivering innovative, sustainable and pedagogically driven bespoke furniture as well as full learning environments and communities.  The group, which now employs more than 400 professionals worldwide, including a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in the UAE and offices in Saudi Arabia and Spain, continues to redefine educational design excellence from its Middle Eastern roots to an expanding international stage.

Paolo Borghesi, Co-Founder and Director of Kidzink, added: “Our vision has always been to make schools better, wherever they are. Opening in Singapore allows us to scale that mission globally, bringing the same quality, craftsmanship and research-driven design from our UAE headquarters to Asia’s dynamic education sector.”

Kidzink’s expansion into Asia follows a series of major accolades and milestones in 2025, including three Iconic Awards for educational seating furniture, the launch of the Enriched Environment Model™, a world-first educational design system unveiled at the recent Academy of Neuroscience for Architecture Conference in California, as well as the upcoming release of its book, Beyond the Box: How neuroscience-based design can transform the learning environment.

Launched in 2017 in Dubai, Kidzink has expanded to include offices in KSA, Spain and now Singapore with more global expansion on the horizon. Through its group of companies, including Koda, its dedicated education architecture practice, and Kidzink, its education furniture and interior design practice, the company offers complete education design, strategy and consulting services and solutions including bespoke education furniture manufacture, all under one roof. Centering the needs and dreams of learners, the company designs, constructs, and furnishes dynamic, adaptable, sustainable, and beautiful schools and learning environments and communities around the world.

Kidzink’s and its group of companies’ culture is built around a shared mission to ‘make schools better,’ but it’s the firm’s unique approach to creativity and collaboration that sets it apart. With no traditional structures or policies, Kidzink fosters an environment that values trust, autonomy, and continuous learning. The company’s commitment to design excellence, meaningful work, and high-performing teams has not just attracted but fostered award-winning professionals from a wide range of disciplines, including architecture, education, project management, industrial design, landscape architecture, as well as acoustics, athletics, strategy and engineering.
