Operating in 11 countries and with over 30 showrooms across the GCC and MENA regions including UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain, Iraq, Yemen, Qatar, Oman, Sudan as well as design hub in Northern Italy – the worldwide interiors powerhouse has also announced further expansion across the GCC. A brand-new store has opened in Al Zahia City Centre Sharjah for end of year 2022, as well as the expansion of Sedar’s Khalidiya store in Abu Dhabi.

Demonstrating a dedication to move with the times which has kept them on top for over a century, Sedar Global has also rolled out a revamped look throughout 8 GCC stores in last year, with a plan to extend this number for 2023. Aiming to reach a wider, international millennial and Gen Z audience, the spaces take on a more friendly and approachable visual identity. Inspired by Sedar Global’s highly successful marketing campaign ‘Your Space Your Art’, store interiors are brightened with bold colours and include new technology to create interactive design spaces enhancing consumer engagement.

As well as their renowned VIP in-store experience which will reach new levels in 2023, Sedar Global’s e-commerce platform has seen a refresh for 2022 including the virtual store and high end-to-end shopping immersive VR experience. E-commerce now accounts for 8% of Sedar Global’s overall sales attracting new GenZ and Millennial buying audiences. This is a significant number since the ecommerce launch in 2020 and due to the fact Sedar sell bespoke made goods which customers usually opt for in-store experiences for this type of interior fit-out. The brand has acquired over 18,000 leads since January 2022 converting these to sales both online and in store.

Specially designed to provide the unique 360 experience customers enjoy in store virtually, customers can now shop and organise a room makeover from their computer. From consulting, manufacturing, delivery to installation – Sedar worked closely on design elements of their e-commerce platform to build in virtual home consultation services for taking measurements and styling consultancy. Working on a user-friendly platform that doesn’t alienate less tech-savvy users and that maintains that unique one-to-one shopping experience appeal of Sedar.
