Ida Udovicic is a senior interior designer for KEO International Consultants’ design division. She is the creative force behind many of KEO’s most innovative interior design projects, and she has over a decade of international experience working in Europe and the Middle East. She now oversees the Interior Design Department, which works on projects ranging from high-end residential to hotel and leisure.

Her interior design leadership and strong project management skills assist clients in focusing on their objectives while maintaining quality and high standards during construction. Currently, Udovicic is working on interior design projects in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman. Good design, according to Udovicic, is human-cen- tred, contextual, and environmentally conscious.

Prior to joining KEO in 2020, Udovicic worked as a senior interior architect at Perkins & Will in Dubai, where she was in charge of leading interiors teams and overseeing project design from concept to IFC for a variety of residential, hospitality, and mixed-use projects.

Udovicic feels that design is always a reflection of social, cultural and economic moments of a certain time and my creative process is influenced by all of these, including arts, literature, fashion, lifestyle trends and other aspects.

Udovicic comments on the region’s design industry’s future: “For sure the future of Dubai and the UAE overall is very bright! Currently, there are a lot of opportunities and exciting projects coming up in the Middle East. I envision that in the near future, design will focus even more on sustainability and addressing entirely new ways of living which will also mean inclusion of different technologies in order to create better places for all of us.
