Cem Kapancioglu spent seven years at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University studying architecture. In 2010, he established CK Architecture Interiors. Four years later, the company began to expand as a result of project wins for clients such as Anantara on the Palm and Burj Khalifa. Kapancioglu had previously gained valuable industry experience while working for Dubai-based consultancy Eronat Engineering.

He returned to Istanbul to work for design firms such as Kocaciklioglu Architects and Arketipodesign before returning to Dubai to work with Rixos Group on a project worth approximately US$500mn. He recently completed the Real Estate Economy and Finance programme at the London School of Economics and Political Science. The programme assisted him in gaining a thorough understanding of the estate industry from a macroeconomic perspective.

CK Architecture Interiors, based in Dubai, offers a bespoke design and build solutions for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, and has worked on several prestigious projects, including Signature and Garden Villas at Palm Jumeirah, Penthouses at Bluewaters and Il Primo, Royal Villas, and an ultra-luxury car showroom along Sheikh Zayed Road. The company recently expanded its operations to Abu Dhabi by opening a new 2,000sqft showroom and experiential centre at the St. Regis Residences on Saadiyat Island. The company has completed three ultra-luxury signature villas and is currently working on three additional villas ranging from five to nine bedrooms on Palm Jumeirah’s ‘Billionaire’s Row,’ with a total construction area of over 20,800sqm and a plot area of over 9,300sqm.
