The leading glass event glasstec held a presentation in the emirate to announce the plans of its upcoming  25th edition of the event in Düsseldorf, Germany.

From October 23-26, 2018 the world of glass will be meeting in Düsseldorf for its most important major industry event. glasstec is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2018, again presenting a comprehensive bandwidth of innovative products, trends and solutions, combined with an in-depth professional support programme, featuring practical and scientific insights.

“The 25th edition, too, is setting standards for the future of the glass industry. Exhibitors from all over the world will present their innovative products to trade visitors, and a widely diversified support programme will provide unique insights into all the segments of the industry. This allows visitors of glasstec to stay ahead of the competition. glasstec therefore is and remains the world’s leading trade fair on the subject of glass,” says Joachim Schäfer, managing director of Messe Düsseldorf.

glasstec 2016 attracted over 1230 exhibitors from more than 50 countries, again making it the biggest and most important trade show in the industry. Over 40,100 visitors (from 121 countries) learned a great deal in the areas of glass manufacturing, processing and finishing, the glazing trade, architecture and construction, windows and façades as well as the wide-ranging conference programme.
