Khadije Hamad joined Aedas in 2016, and has over eight years of professional experience in the architectural field. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Sharjah in 2015. She later pursued her Master’s Degree in Sustainable Design in the Built Environment from the British University in Dubai.

Khadije is an ambitious architect with a strong passion for concept design and a knack for tackling challenging projects. Throughout her career, she has played a pivotal role in numerous large-scale master planning projects in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Her love for concept design stems from her belief that the conceptual phase is where innovation and creativity thrive, setting the stage for projects that offer unique and meaningful experiences to users—whether inspired by the past, present, or future.

In 2021, Khadije was honoured with the ‘Young Talent of the Year’ Award, a testament to her dedication, creativity, and leadership.

In addition to her project work, Khadije is deeply passionate about mentoring and fostering the development of the next generation of architects. She actively supports fresh graduates as they navigate their entry into the industry, drawing from her own experience of joining Aedas as a fresh graduate in 2016. Understanding the challenges new architects encounter, she is committed to offering guidance, building their confidence, and creating opportunities to help them succeed in their careers.

As a passionate advocate for women in architecture, Khadije is dedicated to empowering young female architects to overcome barriers in a traditionally male-dominated field. By leading through example, she inspires them to challenge societal norms and assert their presence in the industry, encouraging them to pursue their goals with confidence and determination.
