After Nabil has successfully led the transformational redesign of Destino Pacha Hotel Ibiza, he is now leading the group’s latest development — Casa Pacha Residences, a new collection of branded residences in Ibiza that will extend FIVE’s immersive living experience into the residential segment. Casa Pacha Residences will offer high-end beachfront living that celebrates community, connection, and cultural authenticity, while meeting the performance standards of a globally recognised lifestyle brand.

Nabil Akiki is the architect behind some of the most iconic, top-performing, and globally celebrated lifestyle assets in the world of hospitality real estate. “As a founding member and Chief Development Officer of FIVE Holdings, he has created a high-performance development model that seamlessly combines architectural innovation, operational excellence, and commercial expertise.

With over two decades of experience in the design, development, and delivery of mixed- use projects across the GCC, North Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, Nabil has mastered the art of execution-led real estate leadership. He graduated top of his class with a first-class architecture degree from INBA Beirut, and later earned a Master’s in Architecture on scholarship from the École Spéciale d’Architecture in Paris, graduating Major de Promotion. His early portfolio from hospitals, commercial complexes, residential developments, to luxury hospitality projects, shaped the executional intensity and design precision that define his leadership today.

Since 2012, Nabil has spearheaded every FIVE Holdings development, overseeing the end- to-end lifecycle from feasibility to handover. His relentless focus has resulted in a portfolio of architecturally iconic, commercially high- yielding assets that consistently outperform market expectations.

From cascading terraces at FIVE Palm Jumeirah to spiralling villas at FIVE Jumeirah Village and fluid indoor- outdoor spaces at Destino Five Ibiza, each project maximises flow, connectivity, and energy.

That Define Excellence Nabil’s development blueprint began with FIVE Palm Jumeirah, completed in 2016. This architectural icon redefined beachfront living with a bold, cascading amphitheatre design that keeps every guest visually connected to the central pool deck. In 2019, he introduced FIVE Jumeirah Village, a patented corkscrew tower with 501 ‘Villas in the Sky,’ later becoming the most-reviewed hotel worldwide on Booking.com. In 2020, Akiki expanded into Europe with FIVE Zurich, transforming a heritage landmark into a lifestyle destination while preserving its façade and creating Zurich’s only 5-star outdoor pool. In 2023, following FIVE’s acquisition of The Pacha Group, Akiki led the redesign of Destino Pacha Ibiza, reopening in 2025 as Destino Five Ibiza.

His vision ensures sustainability is embedded into every contract, construction method, and operational system. Beginning with FIVE Palm Jumeirah’s LEED Platinum design in 2014, this philosophy now guides all FIVE developments, with on-site wastewater treatment, energy-efficient HVAC, solar integration, and circular material sourcing as standard.
