At the 24th edition of the World Travel Awards Middle East held on October 29, 2017, the Fairmont hotels in the Northern Emirates of the UAE took home major wins. Fairmont Ajman was conferred the title of Ajman’s Leading Hotel while Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort was crowned Middle East’s Leading New Resort.
Strategically situated along the Ajman corniche and set on a 200m beachfront stretch, Fairmont Ajman opened its doors in 2015. This 14-storey beachfront resort features 252 guest rooms and suites, including two double-storey penthouses boasting enveloping panoramic views, 2,000sqm of meeting space with a grand ballroom, watersports centre, oversized infinity-edged swimming pool, kids’ pool, fitness centre and spa, as well as a variety of dining facilities.
Surrounded by panoramic views of the Gulf of Oman, an extension of the Indian Ocean, Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort offers an idyllic retreat nestled amongst the hidden valleys of the majestic Al Hajar Mountains. Comprising an exclusive 180 guest rooms and suites, this luxury sanctuary is the emirate’s only art-inspired resort. The resort offers a wide range of recreational activities from motorised and non-motorised activities at the watersports and dive centre, to entertainment at the Little Sailor’s kids club. Inspired by trendy hotspots like Ibiza and Miami, Lava Beach Club, managed by the hotel, will be the first standalone beach club concept of its kind in the UAE when it opens in late 2017.
