cent.ldn launches candle collectibles in an exclusive collaboration with Dwell
For all the candle lovers, cent.ldn a brand of uniquely perfumed candles made in London, has made its way to the UAE for the very first time. Launching with the signature “London themed collection”, Boombox candle and the basketball, this brand is set to revolutionise the lifestyle industry in the region. These iconic candles are now available exclusively at Dwell stores in the UAE.
cent.ldn’s latest “London themed collection” in collaboration with an all-female London based collective, celebrates the individuality and creativity born in London. cent.ldn partnered with several female creators from London and together the collective developed a range of 6 unique candles to represent their hometowns and the creative communities within them. Each candle is inspired by each creative’s memories and emotions London evokes. Each candle is completely unique, with various fragrance notes including: sweet, spicy, citrusy, and herbal – there really is a cent for everyone!
Hayley Mack, cent.ldn Founder & Director says: “My love for music, entertainment and sports is evident through all of our products. I come from a music industry background and having spent many years as a brand marketer, I realised there was a gap in the market, so I decided to create a culturally relevant candle brand and got to work! My passion for candles has been there for many years, I am now proud to be developing the cent.ldn brand further, focusing on popular and hype culture by creating “never been seen before” candles and celebrating nostalgia and cultural moments.”

cent.ldn has also created the first of its kind Boombox Candle, imitating the legendary JVC RC M90 boombox which was used on 16 year-old LL Cool J’s first album cover released in 1985. Another Def Jam recording artist of the era, the Beastie Boys also used the same boombox for several photo sessions. It is still to this day considered “The King” of the Boom Box, making this now an iconic hip hop staple.
