CIFF Guangzhou 2024: Office & Commercial Space and CIFM/interzum guangzhou to open soon
The 53rd China International Furniture Fair (CIFF Guangzhou) 2024, the world’s largest furniture exhibition renowned for its comprehensive scope and industry influence, successfully concluded its first phase dedicated to the residential sector on March 21st.
The CIFF Guangzhou event focused on design leadership, internal and external circulation, and whole-chain collaboration, all under the theme of “Designing a Better Home, Serving a New Pattern”. The first phase of CIFF Guangzhou 2024 particularly highlighted innovative breakthroughs and achievements in intelligent and high-end manufacturing.
According to a Xinhua News report, the CIFF exhibition played a pivotal role in fostering the reconstruction of the home furnishing industry chain and the enhancement of the value chain. This sets a positive trajectory for the high-quality development of the home furnishing industry.
The Office & Commercial Space exhibition and CIFM/interzum guangzhou exhibitions, taking place concurrently from March 28 to 31, are poised to significantly contribute to the high-quality development of both the office commercial space industry and the home furnishing manufacturing industry, solidifying their positions as leading industry events. Held together, these exhibitions represent one of the top exhibition platforms in the world and the first in Asia for the entire furniture supply chain, boasting a massive 417,000 square meters of exhibition space and featuring over 2,600 participating brands.

Impressive Lineup! Record-breaking scale and gathering of top brands
Canton Fair Complex is fully booked with all 45 exhibition halls occupied by 2,600 exhibitors. The exhibition area has increased by 11% compared to the historical record of the 51st edition in 2023, reaching a total of 417,000 square meters.
Specifically, the Office & Commercial Space has added halls 17.1 and 17.2 in Zone D of the Canton Fair Complex, covering 24 halls, an increase of 9% compared to 2023 in terms of exhibition space. CIFM/interzum guangzhou 2024 has added halls 14.4-16.4 in Zone C, reaching an area of 18 halls, an increase of 14%.
The Office & Commercial Space 2024, themed “New Fashion in Office, New Trends in Commerce” and aiming to create a platform to promote industry trends such as ecological aspects, will focus on three main topics: office environment, office seating and public commercial spaces. Leading international brands such as Steelcase, Haworth, Okamura, Aurora, BENE and HAY, as well as brands such as San’ao, Baili, Changjiang, Yongyi, Henglin, Jiechang, Lege, Kaidi, Guanmei, Zhaosheng, Zhongtai, Huasheng, Dior, Kele, Liming, Jingtai and Nuofan, will be present.
CIFM/interzum guangzhou 2024, themed “Overviewing Upstream and Downstream, Creating a New Future“, gathers the themes underlying production with the purpose of building a platform for intelligent manufacturing as well as innovative materials, metal fittings and components in general.
The fair will welcome top industry exhibitors including Haomai, Biesse, SCM, Han’s Laser, Furen, Rehau, Schatt Decor, Qifeng, Huawang, Dongtai, Xinghui, Nanxing, Hongya, Haode, Dilong, Huali, Liangshi and Tute.
Focusing on Design! Guided by aesthetics and empowered by original creation
The second phase focuses on “design trend” and deepens the concept of “design throughout the exhibition” not only through the numerous design brands present but also by introducing multiple exhibitions and forums to promote new aesthetic, functional and sustainability trends.
Among the events during the Office & Commercial Space 2024, Linking Design Star stands out, which, through national and international experts, will organize over 20 well-known design institutes to showcase and anticipate design trends. Guangzhou Office Environment Theme Pavilion will highlight the evolutionary trend of workspaces by providing a scenario of ecological and organic experience. The Design & Art Culture Center, structured with the collaboration of multiple design institutions and numerous international brands, will condense new trends by creating a library space. In the new Trendy Design Hall (Hall 5.2), renowned design brands such as Aomeisi, Guteng, Youfou, Yousipei, Fenlun, Jumei, Finest, Aikoni and Kepai will be present.
CIFM/interzum guangzhou 2024 will focus on the innovative development of materials for furniture production, promoting ecological sustainability upstream of the supply chain.
In the renewed Design “Origin” Hall 2.0 (Hall 16.3), design inspiration in the home sector will be explored through the development of the decorative panel industry, by top brands including Dilong, Liangshi, Yaodonghua, Jiashijia, Huamei, Zhongrun Huayuan, Huacai Pulin, Aibo, Motai, Banlangu, Shengda and Weiyi.
The special exhibition “CMF Trend LAB” dedicated to design and trends will bring interesting innovations.

Office & Commercial Space 2024 has created the Smart Office Space in halls 7.1-8.1, bringing together many industry leaders such as Jiechang, Lege, Kadi, German OKIN, Lianyi Motor, Aoke, Waltz, Huixiang, Naite and Shengfu.
The deep implementation of the country’s revitalization strategy through science and education and the rise of the “aging-friendly” demand of the silver economy have led to a lot of attention being paid to topics such as medical and elderly care furniture and school furniture. Hall 5.1 is dedicated to medical and elderly care furniture, integrating technology with human care.
