COYA Dubai at Four Seasons Resort Dubai, Jumeirah Beach had been on our list for a long time, and we are delighted we finally visited. First and foremost, it is really beautiful and meets all of the requirements for tropical design aesthetics.

Take a minute to observe; the entrance greets customers with live plants and two Inca structures sourced straight from Peru, adding to the restaurant’s atmosphere and impression of Peruvian heritage.

As you step inside COYA Dubai, the stunning distressed gold mirror and chandelier in the reception area immediately capture your attention. The reception counter is a masterpiece in itself, featuring green onyx from Iran, intricately adorned with Peruvian handmade carvings. This fusion of Iranian and Peruvian artistry highlights COYA’s commitment to blending diverse cultural elements into a cohesive and elegant design.

We must say that this venue is a visual feast that immerses guests in the heart of Peru. The interior is a wonderful combination of contemporary design and traditional Peruvian themes. Every part of the restaurant is decorated with vivid textiles, exquisite carvings, and rich tapestries that reflect Peru’s cultural past. The tastefully distressed textures, earthy tones, and lush vegetation echo the natural splendour of Peru’s geography, providing a magnificent yet comfortable environment.

Moving to the main part, the signature dishes include a variety of ceviches, tiraditos, and anticuchos, as well as hearty mains such as lomo saltado and arroz nikkei. The restaurant also offers an extensive selection of pisco-based cocktails, enhancing the overall dining experience. The dessert menu is equally impressive, featuring sweet treats like the Chicha Morada Sorbet and Lucuma Mousse, which showcase the exotic fruits of Peru. The warm hospitality and exceptional knowledge of the staff about the food enhance the dining experience, making guests feel welcomed and well-informed.
