Hansgrohe Wins Zero Plastic Packaging Award At The Sustainability Innovation Awards 2025
At the Sustainability Innovation Awards 2025 held at Al Habtoor Palace, Hansgrohe received the prestigious “Zero Plastic Packaging Award”

Hansgrohe was honored with the “Zero Plastic Packaging Award 2025” at BNC’s Sustainability Innovation Awards at Al Habtoor Palace, recognizing the brand’s leadership in lower-impact, recyclable packaging design.
This award highlights hansgrohe’s commitment to sustainability, reflected in a shift to paper- based mono-material packaging that reduces plastic to near zero, while preserving product protection and maintaining the premium brand experience. Reduced inks and adhesives, along with right-sized cartons, further lower CO2 emissions and simplify recycling. Beyond packaging, hansgrohe’s sustainability program is recognized by independent ratings and certifications, including EcoVadis Platinum (2024), a CDP climate “B” rating, and ISO 14001/45001/50001 certifications.
“Sustainability runs through everything we make at hansgrohe. Packaging isn’t an afterthought; it’s part of the product,” said Vivian D’Souza, Head of Administration at hansgrohe. “This award showcases our commitment to a greener world.”
