Hospitality design firm Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA) has announced the launch of a new studio in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to strengthen its EMEA expertise even further. The Riyadh studio will be led by associate Isabel Sousa who brings more than 20 years of design credentials and vast experience in the KSA market.

With an established footprint in the Middle East, HBA EMEA has several pivotal projects across Saudi Arabia including Four Seasons Kingdom Tower, Riyadh and The Mansard Riyadh, a Radisson Collection Hotel both opening this year, as well as ongoing projects including JW Marriott, Riyadh.

Sousa will lead a team of creatives across multiple design disciplines. A true global citizen, Isabel’s experience includes heading-up projects across London, Italy, the U.S., the UAE, and Bahrain.

Sousa comments: “It’s an exciting time for the KSA market, with lots of growth and opportunity, and I am excited to be able to bring together my global expertise and local knowledge to establish HBA’s office here. I was first with HBA in 2006, as a designer in the Dubai office and I am thrilled to once again be part of a team who are world-leaders in hospitality design.”
