Lodes has renewed its collaboration with Norwegian architecture and design studio Snhetta to expand the Volum collection. Following the introduction of the Volum pendant lamp last year, the collection has been revisited to include new ceiling, wall, and table lamps, as well as a series of glass lamps that are poetically simple yet complex in their technically driven solution. Volum pays homage to the Italian tradition of globe-shaped glass lamps as well as the larger glassblowing process, which morphs glass into naturally imperfect shapes. At the same time, it exemplifies the Oslo-based designers’ modern architectural sensibilities. Volum emits a calming and coherent radiance in all directions.
