In a region where the word ‘luxury’ is commonly overused, HRE Development is showing us another kind of luxury— a quiet, purposeful one that goes beyond marketing strategies and taglines.

The company introduced their latest project SkyHills Astra earlier this year, making headlines for their unique partnership with Dubai Cares that allows buyers to contribute to children’s education with every apartment purchased.

Designed by the renowned firm Space Architects, SkyHills Astra aims to reframe modern living in Dubai with interiors that prioritise comfort, functionality, and aesthetic harmony.

But inside the eye-catching architecture lies another headline-grabbing gem: the design.

Responding to the company’s core value of ‘building with purpose,’ the interiors of both buildings are set to be nothing short of impeccable. After the project’s completion in 2027, residents can come home to an inviting double-height lobby, where co-working spaces, relaxing nooks, and tasteful touch of greenery welcome a sense of holistic well-being.

Every inch of this development is designed to nurture body, mind, and spirit. Warm, earthy tones and light hues evoke peace and serenity, while the open plan layouts provide exceptional views.

“We want people to feel excited about coming home to SkyHills Astra, so we’re pulling out all the stops and creating a meaningful, all-encompassing design that responds to HRE’s core purpose and embodies its values,” said Wissam Breidy, CEO of HRE Development.

“Good design is not just about looks, it’s about making everything an experience—from walking into the building to lounging by the sandy pool or relaxing at home after a long day. We are focusing on every small detail like colours, lines and lighting, strategically placing everything to create the perfect harmony.”

By balancing different materials such as white marble, light wood, and tinted glass cabinetry, apartments at SkyHills Astra achieve a sense of minimalistic elegance while evoking peace and serenity.

Every element is carefully placed to enhance the flow of space and create an atmosphere that feels inviting and intentional. Warm light strips subtly elevate the ambience, seamlessly blending into the open design that connects the kitchen, dining, and living areas.

Floor-to-ceiling windows frame panoramic city views, while natural light pours in and enhances the airy, tranquil feel of the interiors.

Bedrooms were a defining aspect of the design process. “Bedrooms are private sanctuaries, and at SkyHills Astra, we want them to feel as comfortable and unique as possible,” said Breidy.

“We don’t just design a space that looks good, we build with purpose. That’s why we’ve been so meticulous with design—it’s the core of our day-to-day life, and it can even shape our days. There’s nothing more important than feeling right at home and having a space to relax and decompress,” he added.

The bathrooms extend this philosophy, embodying a spa-like experience with clear glass partitions that separate the shower while maintaining openness. Dark accents beautifully complement the light hues, reinforcing an atmosphere of serenity and refinement.

Each unit boasts open plans, whether it’s a separate office area, a hallway connecting one, two, or three bedrooms, or the impressively spacious studio apartments that embrace the same design principles.

Beyond the interiors, SkyHills Astra introduces an array of amenities that embrace both movement and mindfulness. Padel courts and lap pools provide recreational spaces, while featuring one of the longest running tracks in a residential building offers a truly unique experience. Lined with stone for grounding, it invites residents to engage with nature and reconnect with their surroundings, bringing a new dimension to urban living.

In a region where promises of luxury design flood headlines, SkyHills Astra stands apart by prioritising purposeful spaces that go beyond aesthetics to enhance convenience, well-being, and overall quality of life.
