SAKA Museum and Diriyah Art Futures Named Among World’s Most Beautiful Museums 2025
SAKA Museum in Bali and Diriyah Art Futures in Riyadh have been named among the World’s Most Beautiful Museums 2025 by France’s prestigious Prix Versailles

SAKA Museum, AYANA Bali’s cultural and knowledge centre, has been recognised as one of the World’s Most Beautiful Museums 2025 by Prix Versailles, France’s prestigious award celebrating cultural expression, sustainable design, and architectural excellence. SAKA is the only Indonesian museum selected this year, joining an elite global list that includes Diriyah Art Futures in Riyadh, the Grand Palais in Paris, and Kunstsilo in Norway.
The award honours museums that exemplify both stunning architecture and meaningful visitor engagement. Located in Jimbaran, Bali, SAKA Museum has quickly gained global recognition since its 2024 opening, with previous accolades including TIME Magazine’s World’s Greatest Places 2024 and the Kyoto Global Design Awards.

Dr. Judith E. Bosnak, Director of SAKA Museum, shared that the honour reflects the team’s commitment to sustainable, inclusive, and forward-thinking cultural spaces. The museum continues to deepen cultural understanding through exhibitions like Kasanga: Nyepi, Subak: The Ancient Order of Bali, and the upcoming Heritage Gallery: The Five Elements.
SAKA Museum’s inclusion alongside Diriyah Art Futures, Saudi Arabia’s pioneering digital arts centre, underscores the growing global influence of cultural institutions across Asia and the Gulf. Both exemplify a commitment to preserving heritage while embracing innovation and sustainability in museum design and programming.
