Style Library presents Scion’s SS20 collection
It’s a double first for Scion this season with the launch of its SS20 collection presented in a new and exciting lookbook. Named after the Sri Lankan festival, Esala is a celebration of joyous colour and a fusion of patterns, motifs and semi-plains. Featuring the latest looks from working the soft tropics trend to taking a walk on the wild side of print. Fabrics and wallpapers, new and best-selling have been brought together to build a story that introduces a range of design solutions for the contemporary home.
Hannah Bowen, head of design at Scion says, “We’re thrilled to launch Esala, our new easy to use collection of co-ordinated schemes, which sees Scion wallpapers and fabrics in one place for the first time. This get the look concept provides a visual representation of how Scion’s products work alongside each other to create an entire scheme. We’re encouraging consumers to choose their favourite 2020 colour trends and looks, embracing new design stories to recreate the look in their own home.”
The look book incorporates new and most-loved wallpapers, prints, embroideries, weaves, semi-plains and featured designs over 140 skus. This season’s colour groups including Spiced Pear, Tropicana, Fruit Salad and Candy introduce a vibrancy alongside standout pops of beautiful, outspoken colour. Layer oversized jungle plants, characterful motifs, stylised hand-drawn florals and pair angular geometrics with textural plains and semi plains for a fresh, funky interior alive with creativity. Scion’s iconic Mr Fox features alongside cheerful love birds and Pedro Penguin make his debut in this cleverly tailored and co-ordinating collection full of possibilities.
In addition, 20 colours from Esala Plains are included in the lookbook, providing a perfect finishing touch to the collection. The complete Esala Plains library of 35 colours is available separately and cleverly tailored across a range of key trend colours. The launch comprises one lookbook containing fabrics and wallpapers.
