Styled Habitat, a Dubai based interior design firm, has completed the regional HQ and R&D centre for Jotun.

Styled Habitat developed a sophisticated design scheme that paid homage to a uniquely Scandinavian approach to functionalism, drawing inspiration from the company’s Nordic roots.

Working with architectural firm ‘Royal Haskoning DHV’ and their Dubai team, the 12,000sqft HQ of the region’s leading innovation and science hub, located in Dubai Science Park. It consists two separate buildings one to house the regional administrative offices of 230 staff members, and the other to house the research and development labs.

Work areas were designed without visual barriers as part of the company’s culture to promote collaboration and a distraction free environment, with a combination of open and closed office spaces, as well as break out areas on every floor to allow for a modular environment and multifunctional spaces for the team to converge.
