SUPERFUTUREDESIGN* creates seven food stations, each with a distinct design element for Todd English
SUPERFUTUREDESIGN* created a new branch for Todd English in the Fashion Avenue of the Dubai Mall and added their distinct and tasteful design elements that sync with the unique nature and ideology of their clients.
The design firm conceptualised and executed a strategy that went in-line with Todd English’s passion for distinct cuisines. Seven distinct food stations were created, each for the food category ocean grill, pasta and pizza, sushi, noodle and dumpling, Arabic, Indian, and Grill. To match the gastronomic delights with a judicious blend of beverages, the bar formula for each of these stations was implemented. Each of these seven cooking styles had its own design element, clearly reflecting he gastronomic mood and highlighting the particular cuisine. In addition, a Deli market was also incorporated where people could carry their food experience.
The mighty impressive food hall covers an area of 12,000sqft and promises to appeal to the sensibilities of the modern generation with a taste for global cuisine. Keeping the specialities of the chef in mind, there are 12 open kitchens for customers to have the visual treats of food being prepared. The USP of this outlet is the homely and warm décor that strikes a familiar chord with the crowd. The simple yet effective designs of marble flooring made quirky and modern with mosaic pattern, classic and elegant wood panelling to accentuate the corners and joints, distinct tainted glass windows and judicious use of wall mirrors take this outlet several notches higher than its contemporaries. In addition, keeping in mind the urban and street style of food and food culture, the layout, and décor of the outlet is especially appealing to the young crowd.
The neatly arranged wall décor and kitchen supplies bring back the memories of your childhood as you go through the wide and diverse menu. The rustic sitting arrangement has been designed to accommodate a large number of people without crowding the establishment. The thoughtful material selections add a touch of elegance and cheer to this outlet. Of course, to have their food cooked in front of them is a great feature, but it is also supplemented with the open layout and efficient ventilation system and ducts so that the customers are not overpowered by the spices and aromatic smell.
