Stepping into The Spaniel feels like a warm hug. Tucked away on Bluewaters Island, this British brasserie is all about comfort, charm, and seriously good food. The interiors are a perfect blend of rustic and elegant—think dark wood, soft leather seating, and vintage touches that make you want to settle in and stay a while.

The menu is packed with British classics. One cannot resist the Spaniel Scotch Egg, crispy on the outside with a perfectly runny yolk, paired with a tangy walnut ketchup. The 10-hour Slow-Cooked Lamb Shank was fall-off-the-bone tender, rich, and beautifully paired with saffron risotto. And, of course, I had to try the Beef Wellington, which was every bit as indulgent as I hoped.

For dessert, the ‘After Eight’ Chocolate Tart was a dream—rich chocolate with a refreshing hit of mint ice cream. If you love a good drink, the upstairs bar is the place to be. The mixologists here know their craft, serving up classic British gins and creative cocktails that perfectly complement the cozy yet stylish setting.

Whether you’re after a hearty meal, a relaxed drink, or just a change of scenery, The Spaniel hits the mark. It’s the kind of place that feels effortlessly welcoming, with great food, a warm atmosphere, and stunning views of Ain Dubai.
