Novus Art Gallery will be launching its latest collective exhibition today, October 25, 2017 in Abu Dhabi. The group show “Language of Colours” will feature some of the established and up-and-coming artists worldwide and from the Middle East, bringing together a carefully curated selection of high quality art. “The exhibition, curated by Vania Rontini, is designed as a celebration and presentation of the motifs deeply associative with the Middle Eastern culture”, explains Enas Elkorashy from the gallery’s team. “All of the selected artists, both international and Middle Eastern, will bring in their take on the motifs that deeply inspire their work, but at the same time are relevant for the country we are exhibiting in – United Arab Emirates.
The show will feature the newest works by the renowned calligraphy master El Seed. He is the winner of 2016 UNESCO Sharjah prize for Arab Culture and is known for his collaboration with Louis Vuitton for their famous “Foulard d’artiste”.
Artwork selection will also include artworks from Richard Orlinski, canvases by famous calligraphers Ahmed Moualla and Wissam Shawkath, lightboxes by famous British photographer Derrick Santini, and many more.
Novus Art Gallery is also known as being the first in the Middle East with a large inventory of Richard Orlinski’s newest artworks. Known around the world for his “Born Wild” concept of animal sculptures, one of Orlinski’s large falcon artworks (6m tall) has recently been installed in Abu Dhabi Presidential palace.
