Humanscale, an award-winning designer and manufacturer of ergonomic solutions for work and home spaces, has announced the appointment of a new managing director for its MENA operations. Frazer Butcher arrives at Humanscale with over 10 years’ experience, including six years in the UAE.

Butcher said: “My career so far has allowed me to experience projects from the building design phase to the final implementation of finishes, giving me a unique overview of the complete process. It has allowed me to gain a broad understanding of the different factors within buildings, offices and homes that affect our wellbeing.”

Butcher will report directly to Tim Hutchings, president at Humanscale International. With full responsibility for the development of Humanscale’s Middle East and North Africa business, Butcher will play a key role in achieving the company’s ambitious growth goals. He will also be focusing on further penetrating the region’s retail market as well as building on Humanscale’s outstanding reputation for delivering consumer-driven solutions into offices and homes.

Of his appointment, Butcher said: “I have always been very passionate about design, which led me into this field. As a business, Humanscale embodies innovation and has consistently designed ergonomic products with the users’ well-being in mind.
