In Pictures: Jean Nouvel’s latest masterpiece in Miami Beach with the French-Moroccan interior designer Rita Chraibi
Here’s the first completed residence at Monad Terrace by Ateliers Jean Nouvel and developer JDS Development Group in Miami Beach by notable French-Moroccan interior designer, Rita Chraibi.
Throughout this 5,193sqft, four-bedroom residence, Chraibi’s signature design style uniquely fuses interior and fashion design with artistic expression to humanise the space. As an ambassador for renowned French furniture brand Roche Bobois, Chraibi derived inspiration from the furnishings of haute couture fashion icon Jean Paul Gaultier’s collection for the brand and curated furniture designs exclusively from this collection. By default, the residence reflects the most exceptional aspects of haute couture high-fashion and is an ode to the fashion house.
Chraibi also collaborated with distinguished contemporary art gallery Galleria Ca’ d’Oro to select pieces by Italian artist Marco Grassi and Lorrenzo Perrone that are evocative and offer a sense of wonder. The pieces in collaboration with Rita’s selection of haute couture Jean Paul Gaultier furniture pieces, together create a cross-section between fashion, art and design at the highest level, a true depiction of “French art de vivre”.
The residence features four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a custom Gaggenau kitchen designed by Jean Nouvel, and a 42ft deep terrace with a Bayfront reflecting pool.
