Since the late 1990s, Paul Bishop has been paving the way in the world of interior design by breaking boundaries with revolutionary creations. He is the owner of leading design firm Bishop Design, which has offices in Dubai and Miami, and he is the humble winner of six Interior Designer of the Year awards from prestigious awarding bodies between 2018 and 2021. Bishop is currently working on a number of high-profile projects, including Mesa – Terra Solis, which will be brought by music festival Tomorrow- land, five unique venues that will characterise Riyadh’s F&B scene in the Laysen Valley Development, and the addition of eccentric, Colombian-inspired restaurant En Fuego to Atlantis The Palm, to name a few. With his presence expanding in promising locations such as the United States and Saudi Arabia, Paul is establishing a strong design influence within each demographic, with Dubai remaining the largest in his portfolio. Bishop is responsible for inspiring the next generation of young designers, in addition to taking a Dubai-born agency international. His firm has an internship programme, he sponsors a scholarship at Kingston University in the United Kingdom, and Miami community initiatives are in the works.
