Rasha Al-Tekreeti is an Iraqi interior architect, co-founder and creative director of Warû, an interior architecture and strategic design agency focussed on creating nomadic spaces; a venture close to her roots, vision, and heart. Her foray in hospitality and workplace design consultancy has garnered a portfolio spanning prestigious names in large-scale hospitality projects, with brands such as Westin, Hyatt, Fairmont amongst others, including projects for Siemens Energy, Masdar, and Biogen in office design spaces.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design (B.F.A) from the American University, Dubai, and a Master’s in Strategic Design of Spaces from IE University, Madrid, Rasha is an interior architect with architectural and urban planning led vision. Working with a vision-led eminence to design spaces shaped with an emphasis on research, agile strategic thinking, a holistic understanding of human psychology including brand-led engineering, Rasha has prevalently withheld a singular approach to manifest each brand’s identity into the tangible world.

Stemming from her approach to reinvent design thinking, Rasha has amassed great appreciation in the industry along with several awards and accolades, featuring in renowned publications such as Dezeen & Archdaily. Awarded the “Young Interior Designer of the Year” title at the Commercial Interior Design Awards in 2018, Rasha was applauded for her ability to execute large-scale projects with a knack for leadership, touting her design aesthetic as “modern and fresh.”
