Vaida Buchrotaite is the Director of Interiors for DLR Group Middle East. Her background includes designing and managing large-scale developments, such as high-rise residential towers and 5-star hotels, as well as working on boutique yacht projects.

Buchrotaite’s thorough nature and love of the holistic perspective guide her to tackle all projects distinctively, with surgical attention to detail from pre-concept to completion. She embodies, emanates, and mentors her core professional tenets of working hard, working smart, managing effectively, and never compromising on design quality.

Buchrotaite’s love and passion for interior Design was first ignited by Anita Rosato’s design office in London. Her Middle East experience was kick-started with a lead designer role in Perkins+Will hospitality team, then moving to SBID as hospitality department head, which she successfully led for two years alongside Joakim de Rham before joining DLR Group as Director of Interiors.

Some of her latest projects include Buruj Accor Novotel Hotel in Baghdad, award winning Jubail Mangrove Club in Abu Dhabi, Sultan St. Mixed -use Development in Jeddah.

At the beginning of 2022, she has taken part in Light ME panel where she has shared her ideas on sustainability. Buchrotaite has also been invited as a guest speaker at Amity university in Dubai. Buchrotaite continues to further her studies – in the recent years, she has obtained LEED, RELi and WELL AP certifications, to ensure her knowledge is up to date and stays relevant.
