With close to 20 years of hands-on experience in interior design and architecture, Anil’s portfolio includes the design of a variety of projects in the hospitality, corporate and retail sectors. Throughout the years he has successfully carried out projects in Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Europe.

He co-founded MMAC Design Associates, which is quickly becoming one of the region’s most respected hospitality design organisations. He has designed in various capacities for over 30 hotels. Having worked intimately with premium hotel operating chains like Accor, Marriott, Hyatt, Starwood, Intercontinental, Hilton, Millennium and Carlson-Rezidor amongst others, Anil understands the complexities inherent in the design and operation of hotels. Prior to that, he was the head of the design department of Samuel Creations, a Geneva-based firm that specialised in hospitality projects throughout Europe and the Middle East. As a fan of design journalism, he has contributed to publications such as Middle East Interiors, Commercial ID, Design 51, and the Dubai Real Times.
