Fabidha’s journey has been an upward curve towards achievement and growth, with learning at all times. Her firm, Design Matter, tries to push the boundaries and thrive as a fresh interior design practice under her direction. Larger projects enter the firm’s portfolio as evidence of its expansion.

With her keen design eye and attention to detail here is how Fabidha has made an impact in the past year. She has led 20 healthcare projects in the last few years, including clinics, wellness centres, and health-retail venues. Three in the last year. Under her direction, the firm is now completing the design of a 190,300-square-foot hospital – Medcare Royal Hospital, Ghusais – in conjunction with the Bangalore-based architecture firm ANA.

When it comes to residential towers, Design Matter has designed residential tower complexes and one large-scale residential development this year, with a total of 436 floors for highly diversified local real-estate company, GJ Real Estate. It introduced a global and contemporary appeal into its brand to differentiate it from the typical residential towers of Ajman.

Several abandoned homes on the Palm Jumeirah and Emirates Hills have also been successfully converted into revenue-generating properties by Design Matter. Unfortunately, these villas were plagued by several design flaws, rendering them unusable for several years. Design Matter repositioned the properties in order to appeal to the lively Dubai crowd.
